Baoding

Baoding Plant is located in Baoding, Hebei Province, and specialized in the manufacturing of automotive sunroofs and related components. Baoding plant has obtained international certifications such as IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. With high-quality products and exceptional services, it has been recognized as a Grade A supplier by FAW-VW, a 4-Star+ supplier by Beijing Hyundai, and has received QCA certification from Changan Automobile. Additionally, the factory has been honored with numerous customer awards, including  Globalization Pilot Award and Quality Excellence Award honored by GWM in 2025.

The City of Baoding

Located in the northern part of Baoding City, the Baoding plant benefits from a strategic location in close proximity to several key customers, ensuring efficient and convenient logistics. The plant is only 1 kilometer away from Great Wall Motor's Xushui Phase II and III plants, approximately 200 kilometers from Beijing Benz, and about 220 kilometers from both Beijing Hyundai and FAW-Volkswagen in Tianjin, offering excellent transportation connectivity.

Our Baoding workplaces

Webasto Baoding was registered in May 2016. After a series of intense construction and busy preparation of operations in only several months, Baoding plant began to deliver its first panoramic roof to its first customer in December 2016 and won the fame of "Baoding Speed". Baoding plant was awarded the "Best Plabnt" and "Global Quality Award" by Webasto Group in 2024 for its outstanding operational performance and its passion for quality and innovation.

Good transportation

The transportation network around Baoding plant makes your visit very easy. It is adjacent to G5 Beijing-Kunming super highway and G18 Rongcheng-Wuhai Super highway. It takes 40 mintues to get on Express train to Baoding East Railway station and you can reach Beijing West Railway station in 40 mintues from there.  It costs about 90 minutes from Baoding plant to Beijing Daxing International Airport.
