Delivers Power, Efficiency, and Sustainability

Setting new standards in Marine Cooling: Webasto launches FCF Evo & BlueCool SX-Series

Revolutionizing onboard cooling with the FCF Evo and BlueCool SX-Series
Tampa, FL – October 7, 2025 – Webasto Thermo & Comfort North America, a global leader in marine heating and cooling technology, will showcase its latest innovations at the International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition & Conference (IBEX), October 7–9 at the Tampa Convention Center. Visitors to booth 3-1713 will be among the first to experience the new FCF Evo Series and BlueCool SX-Series, two advanced self-contained air conditioning units designed to elevate onboard comfort while supporting environmental sustainability.
Both the FCF Evo and BlueCool SX-Series feature titanium condensers for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance, along with the adoption of R32 refrigerant, a new formula that delivers superior thermodynamic performance. R32 enables faster heat transfer, higher energy efficiency, and consistent cooling across varying marine conditions. These benefits translate into reduced energy consumption, compact system design, and improved reliability ‒ key advantages for vessels operating in tropical climates and global trade routes.
The FCF Evo Series introduces a newly designed Marine AC Control Display for onboard climate control interfaces. Featuring an elegant all-black design, capacitive touch functionality, and a premium matte finish, the display offers intuitive operation and enhanced visibility with daylight-readable LED indicators. This modern interface not only elevates the aesthetic of the cabin but also improves user interaction.
Both systems are engineered for easy installation, dual voltage compatibility, and optimized refrigerant charge, ensuring efficient operation and reduced environmental footprint. These enhancements reflect Webasto’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in marine climate control.
Beyond product innovation, Webasto continues to invest in its dealer and service network to support the growing popularity of its marine solutions across the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Brazil. With a robust global network of trained and certified dealers, Webasto ensures expert installation, technical assistance, and responsive service wherever boaters operate.
“Our recent growth in the marine segment is a direct result of our commitment to quality and service,” said Benjamin Perramant, Marine Director of Sales at Webasto Thermo & Comfort North America. “We’re proud to offer cutting-edge products that boatbuilders and captains can rely on, and we’re equally committed to building a strong, responsive support network that keeps pace with the excitement and momentum surrounding Webasto Marine.”
Webasto invites all IBEX attendees to explore the future of marine climate control at booth 3-1713 and learn more about how the FCF Evo and BlueCool SX-Series are setting new standards in performance, reliability, and sustainability.
