Governance &
Compliance

Social responsibility towards employees, business partners and society in general is an integral part of the Webasto Group's principles. It includes strict compliance with national and international laws and regulations as well as consistent adherence to ethical values and standards and internal policies and rules.

Corporate governance systems

Webasto SE and its subsidiaries ("Webasto") operate globally and have a corporate history spanning more than 100 years. In the Berylls Study 2025 ranking, Webasto is listed among the 100 leading automotive suppliers.

Webasto's business success is supported, among other factors, by compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and societal expectations in the many countries in which the Webasto Group operates. Corporate governance systems, including a Compliance Management System (CMS), help support adherence to these requirements. The global Webasto Code of Conduct is a key part of the CMS and serves as a guide for employees worldwide for their conduct in everyday business. It is complemented by a specific Code of Conduct with respect to suppliers (“Webasto Supplier Code of Conduct”).

Webasto Whistleblowing System

Compliance requires that all those involved in the business processes contribute to the observance of external and internal rules. Any violations of laws, internal regulations or other malpractice or abuses must be identified immediately and consistently counteracted. A whistleblowing system (Webasto Whistleblowing System) enables employees, external partners and other third parties to report actual or potential compliance violations or other malpractice at Webasto confidentially and anonymously. This enables the company to identify and eliminate malpractice at an early stage in order to avoid or reduce harm to Webasto, its employees and business partners.
