Integrated heating and hot water comfort for motorhomes

Hybrid 7/7E is the most powerful model within the hybrid heating portfolio of Webasto, offering simultaneous heating and hot water functions for motorhomes. A 5.5 kW Air Top Evo 55 air heater powered by diesel from the vehicle tank is designed to provide cabin heating, while the 1.35 kW Expanse gas or gas/electric boiler (7E) provides hot water for washing and showering. The devices heat independently of each other so that their respective output is only available for heating or hot water preparation. This means that heat can be provided within a short period of time. All devices can be installed both underfloor and onboard.

Power boost function

The system supports hot water generation alongside cabin heating functions.

Reduced dependence on gas cylinders

Depending on the vehicle configuration, the use of fuel from the vehicle tank may reduce the number of gas cylinders required on board. This can result in a weight reduction of approximately 20 kg.

Gas cylinder replacement reduced

Hybrid 7/7E extends the service life of the gas cylinders so that they need to be replaced less frequently.
