Heating and hot water for compact camper vans

Hybrid 3/3E from Webasto provides simultaneous heating and hot water in smaller camper vans. A 2 kW Air Top 2000 STC air heater powered by diesel from the vehicle tank warms the interior, while a 1.35 kW Expanse gas or combined gas/electricity boiler (3E) heats the water for washing and showering. The appliances heat independently of each other so that their respective output is only available for heating or hot water preparation. This means that the heat is available extremely quickly. All appliances can be installed both underfloor and onboard.

The water is warmed up even in the coldest winters.

Space and weight saving

As the heating system uses diesel instead of gas, the number of gas bottles on board can be reduced. This saves around 20 kg of payload and space.

Gas cylinder changes reduced

Hybrid 3/3E extends the service life of the gas cylinders so that they need to be replaced less frequently.
